SERVICES
Engas offers flexible commercial options to suit client's needs: i) Clients sell raw-gas to Engas, ii) Clients rent bio-CNG plants from Engas, iii) Part rent / part sell the raw biogas, iv) outright purchase of the Bio-CNG unit from Engas. Engas will set up bio-CNG refuelling stations at vehicle depot of fleet operators to sell CNG fuel and Bio-CO
Engas will also set up bio-CNG-gensets or Bio-CNG powered ceramic fuel cells for power generation on demand for charging electric vehicles and provide grid balancing services. Engas is supplying Gas Cylinders and Cylinder-Cascades of various sizes for different gases.
Engas is
working to develop an integrated solar-hydrogen-battery energy
storage project in collaboration with the University of Portsmouth
and other partners.
Typical project: The following schematic diagram shows the concept of a typical bio-CNG project where organic waste is treated by anaerobic digestion plant to produce raw biogas (65% CH4 , 34% CO2, etc) followed by our biogas purification process to produce clean bio-CNG (>95% CH4) by separating the CO2 and other impurities. Bio-CNG is then compressed to 200bar to store in cylinders. Bio -CNG provides the highest volumetric energy density (KWh/Nm3) among all gaseous fuel. This bio-CNG is then used to produce electricity on demand for example to charge electric vehicles at peak times; bio-CNG is also used to refuel CNG cars/vans/trucks/tractors. Bio-CO2 could also be supplied to a greenhouse to make micro-algae for waste water treatment.
